I would like to learn more because I want to work in the games industry to create memorising games that will be remembered and loved forever.  I want to meet new people who I can share my interests with, work together as a team developing better communication and working skills which will also prepare me better for the future.

I spend a lot of time playing video games whenever I can. I spent most of my childhood playing Pokemon, which is a game that I still play today both casually and competitively with friends or random people. I love this game as it contains all the great things that I love which is originally where my true competitiveness in games awoken from. I've also played various fighting games like Tekken 4 where I learnt to stratagise better and attempt to time my attacks so that I came out with the victory which is where I started to progress at being a better player. I have also played a lot of Call of Duty on the PS3 mostly with friends which is where I would play the game more casually, have more fun at the game but then there were times where I would play to get high killstreaks and finish at the top of the leaderboard. Minecraft is a game that I used to play as I was introduced to the new style of game where there was so much more to do and it was made easy to play with other people and it seemed really different in comparison to all of the other games that I had played. I played some PvP with friends or by myself at times where I would try to improve as a player. Nowadays, I mostly play rhythm games such as osu! and Love Live! School Idol Festival, which are musical based games where you basically have to click to the beat. I love these type of games as it improves my accuracy which is needed in any type of game and I just find them really enjoyable. I also like RPG horror games such as Corspe Party as it has a hint of everything in it and it also includes a very detailed backstory which I find very interesting and amusing.

I spend quite a lot of my watching anime as it is something that I find enjoyable and relaxing. I love following the plot in anime and I enjoy pretty much every genre, where mystery and horror are my absolute favourite. I also enjoy watching anime that is based around music as it usually consists of the actual story leading to extra backstory of the characters themselves which I find quite interesting and entertaining to watch. Some examples of my favourite are: Mirai Nikki, Hyouka, Boku Dake ga Inai Machi, Love Live!, K-on and Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso.

In some of my spare time, I like to use it to draw anime characters that I like from certain shows whether its at a break time in college or even if its just when I'm at home and bored/ internet died. I plan to buy a drawing tablet to benefit my drawing skills on a computer and I also plan to use it for a rhythm game that I play which is osu!

I listen to music practically all of the time such as if I'm browsing the internet, I have music on in the background. This also applys to when I'm playing games as it gets me more in the mood and allows me to play more casually and stay calm. When I play rhythm games such as osu! and Love Live! School Idol Festival, I am constantly listening to all different types of music as I follow the rhythm of the song which ranges in difficulties.

I am very passionate about gaming and certain aspects that revolve around them. I was first interested in games back since the Gameboy Color and Pokemon Red and Blue were the big deal. I originally got into gaming when my sister loved the characters within the game and the anime, where she also drew a lot of stuff that revolved around the game itself. I started to play the game and I instantly got hooked, falling in love with the Pokemon I trained even though I was only a child and I didn't really understand what was going on. I think that Pokemon is a very inspirational game that put me into my own imaginative world where I felt like I could do anything, which is something that I want this generation to also feel as Pokemon nowadays seems to not be the same as it was back when the original games were first released. My main goal is to create original games that can portray the same same feeling that I had when I was young, which will make people feel happy and warm inside.

I would like to learn more because I want to work in the games industry to create memorising games that will be remembered and loved forever.  I want to meet new people who I can share my interests with, work together as a team developing better communication and working skills which will also prepare me better for the future.

I like creating original plots and cut scenes using my own creativity and imagination, which is something that I like because it would result in overall uniqueness and originality, which is something that I think the games industry lacks nowadays. I have also had previous times where I create my own sounds and use different aspects which is something that I find fairly enjoyable as it is quite an important aspect for a video game.

I have some artistic skills in both 2D and 3D fashion, ranging from manga/ anime based art to realistic still life art. In school, I studied art and looked into 3D realism whilst learning how reflections and shadows worked making my work seem more appealing and it gave great knowledge about 3D realism itself. At home, I have used programmes such as Photoshop and Paint.net to edit and create my own images where I would mess about with the settings learning new things such as colour, contrast, motion blur etc. I have also used programmes like cinema 4D and Blender, where I would create basic text or use rigs, and attempt to process a nice high quality render of the image using specific lighting packs.

I have not gained any work experience as of yet, however I have acquired skills from education and personal life. I would like to get a job that I find enjoyable which hopefully relates to the games industry as I can build up more skills and potentially learn new things to make me become a better designer.

I believe that i am very creative and imaginative in a sense of where I attempt to make everything in my own unique style so that it can stand out or just be genuinely different to what everybody else does. I am honest which helps me collaborate in a team to gain and give feedback in order to produce a better quality piece of work. I like to be positive when producing work as it fairly important not to panic as it could ruin the work you've been creating or slow down the process but I think that efficiency is a key skill as it helps get all the basic points out there, which can be further elaborated on or tweaked later on when needed.
